Both trained in architecture in Seattle, we’ve spent years honing our craft and discovering what really excites us about design. And what excites us most? We specialize in designing custom homes that bring your vision to life. Whether your project is a new home, a remodel, or an addition, our team is equipped to provide a wide range of architectural design services that suit your project needs.
‣ Architectural Consultation and Feasibility Study: Before we begin, we verify that your project is allowed in your locality. We review local building and zoning codes to determine maximum height, floor area, building setbacks, critical areas, etc. This will determine a feasible route through the building permitting process.
‣ Site and Climate Analysis: Here we can determine how daylight will affect the home at various times of the year. We also determine other natural factors that affect the home, such as snow and wind.
‣ Site Planning: We can help identify the best location of the home, accessory structures, roads, walkways and planting on the project site.
‣ Space Planning: This process is determines the proximities and relationships of different rooms throughout the home.
‣ Building Permit Drawings: We undergo the process of obtaining a building permit. This is the required legal document to construct your home, or construct your renovation.
‣ Construction Drawings: We generate the necessary drawings for the builder to build the house including dimensioned and detailed plans, elevations, sections and calculations.
‣ Interior Design: We can study different material combinations, orientations and alignments to help determine the aesthetic that best suites you. Material, Fixture and Finish selection is a part of this process that can provide you with guidance in selecting furniture, lighting fixtures, appliances, plumbing fixtures, hardware and finish materials.
‣ Consultant Coordination: Depending on your project, various engineering consultants may be required. If they are needed for the project, we can manage these engineers for an efficient and coordinated project delivery.

When we begin discussing your project, we will determine which services are necessary for your project, and determine any services that you are interested in including.
